Before You Order
How far in advance should I place my order/quote request?
As soon as you know the date of your event, please contact us. We can only accommodate certain number of custom orders on the weekends due to our limited kitchen space.
We recommend a minimum 2 week notification to complete your custom order. Weekend dates usually fill up pretty fast.
The process of making your custom edible work of art starts weeks in advance, from consulting with you on design, price, and flavors, to processing the order, to ordering the professional supplies needed to craft your order. We pay the utmost attention to detail and start making precision pieces of your order well ahead of time.
How much do your cakes cost?
The total price of your order depends on several factors, including number of servings, complexity of the design, special flavor requests, and set up time at the venue (if applicable). Our prices do not only cover the cost of the ingredients and top-quality packaging, but also the time taken to answer each special request and create a unique design, preparations for your order, and the meticulous care that goes into creating your masterpiece!
All of our custom cakes are at least 4 layers, made with the highest quality and freshest ingredients, and we never ever use pre-made mixes!
All quotes will be provided via email and not over the phone, simply to help keep track of all details and with customer service in mind!
Please see our Pricing Page for more details.
How do I order and pay?
A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your order. The payment/retainer amount goes toward the balance of your order. This amount is non-refundable and does not include delivery fee. Payment/Retainer must be paid at time of order placement, The balance will be due a week before pickup but can be paid anytime before then.
If order is placed within 1 week of event, the full amount of the order will be due. No retainer/payment-No saved date and cake.
We accept venmo, zelle, and PayPal; we will discuss your preference during the order process, and send you the requests to confirm the booking and 1 week prior for the balance.
No order is confirmed until we get all the information we need for the custom order and the payment/retainer.
How do I schedule delivery or pick-up?
We offer delivery for an additional fee from midtown to 120th st in Manhattan with a minimum order of $75; otherwise we offer pre-scheduled curbside pick-up. We are located on 95th and 3rd. Smash cake orders are pick-up only, but Can be delivered WITH a bigger order.
Is there a cancellation or rescheduling policy?
If a cake needs to be cancelled, all payments/retainers that have been made are non-refundable. By putting down the 50% retainer with us, we in turn reserve your space for that date. It is for these reasons your custom order is unable to be cancelled or rescheduled once we confirm the booking.
In the spirit of flexibility during the pandemic, we will make our best efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests; we will also offer suggestions on how to best store it for freshness; since our cakes are made-to-order, they stay fresh longer than most store-bought items..
Any changes to the order must be done at least (1) one week prior to pick up / delivery and can incur additional charges.
Due to the tedious, handcrafted nature of our products, we are unable to provide refunds.
